Elizabeth was born about 1683 in Henrico Co, Va. Elizabeth's father was Capt. Henry Batte I and her mother was Mary Lound. Her paternal grandparents were Capt. John Batte I and Martha "Katherine" Mallory; her maternal grandparents were Capt. Henry Lound and Ann....... She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Henry, Thomas, Mary, Anne, Rachel and Sarah. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died after September 1764 in Amelia Co, Va. She was buried in Amelia Co, Va.-
