Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Stratton and Elizabeth Elam; her maternal grandparents were Richard Hampton and Alice"Alce".......... She had four brothers and five sisters, named John Hampton, Archibald, William, Thomas, Anna (Anne), Millicent "Milly", Jane "Gincey", Sarah and Judith (Judah). She was the oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Henry, Mary and Martha. She died in Bedford Co, Va. She was buried in Bedford Co, Va.-
