Donald Mar 
Donald was born in 1290 in Mar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Donald's father was Gratney MacGlylocher of Mar and his mother was Christina Bruce. His paternal grandparents were Donald MacGylocher of Mar and Helen Elen Llywelyn Fawr; his maternal grandparents were Robert Bruce and Marjorie McDowell of Carrick. He had three sisters named Helen of, Magaret and Ellene of. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Alexander. He died at the age of 42 in 1332 in Bupplin.General Notes
