Maud was born about 1163 in Chester, Cheshire, England.  Maud's father was Hugh Keveliok De Meschines and her mother was Bertred De Montfort of Evereaux.  Her paternal grandparents were Randulf IV De Meschines and Maud De Gloucester; her maternal grandparents were Simon II Le Chauve De Montfort and Maud De Evereux. She had a brother and four sisters, named Ranulf, Amicia, Beatrix, Agnes and Hawise.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died on January 6th, 1233.

‌Maud and David were married in a religious ceremony on August 26th, 1190 in Scotland.  They had a son and five daughters, named John le Scot, Margaret of, Isabella le Scot of, Majory of, Ada of and ?.

‌Maud and William were married in a religious ceremony in Chester, Cheshire, England.  They had two sons and five daughters, named William, Hugh, Isabella, Nichola, Maud, Cecily and Colette.
