Robert Bruce 
Robert was born in July 1243 in Annandale, Dumfrieshire, Scotland. Robert's father was Robert Bruce and his mother was Isabel De Clare. His paternal grandparents were Robert De Brus and Isabella le Scot of Huntingdon; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert De Clare and Isabella Marshall. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Bernard, William, Richard, Christiana, Isabella, Alosia and Constance. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 60 in March 1304 in Palestine. He was buried in Abbey of Holm Cultram.General Notes
