Ada was born about 1114 in Huntingdon, England. Ada's father was William II De Warrenne and her mother was Elizabeth Isabella De Vermandois. Her paternal grandparents were William I De Warrenne and Gundred De Flanders; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Magnus De Crepi and Adeaide De Vermandois. She had three brothers and a sister, named William III, Reginald, Ralph and Gundred. She was the third oldest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Robert II, Waleran, Hugh, Eleanor, Adeline, Isabel and Maud. She died in 1178.General Notes
