Gundred was born about 1117 in Lewes, Sussex, England.  Gundred's father was William II De Warrenne and her mother was Elizabeth Isabella De Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were William I De Warrenne and Gundred De Flanders; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Magnus De Crepi and Adeaide De Vermandois. She had three brothers and a sister, named William III, Reginald, Ralph and Ada.  She was the youngest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Robert II, Waleran, Hugh, Eleanor, Adeline, Isabel and Maud.  She died after 1166 in Warwick, Warwickshire, England.  She was buried in Kelso, Roxburgh, Scotland.

‌Gundred and Roger were married in a religious ceremony about 1137.  They had two sons and four daughters, named William, Waleran, Gundred, Agnes, Margaret and Henry.
