William De Lancaster 
William was born about 1154 in Kendal, Westmorland, England. William's father was William De Lancaster and his mother was Gundred De Warrenne. His paternal grandfather was Gilbert De Lancaster and his paternal grandmother is Goditha De Taillebois; his maternal grandparents were William II De Warrenne and Elizabeth Isabella De Vermandois. He had a sister named Avice. He was the younger of the two children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William, Waleran, Gundred, Agnes, Margaret and Henry.
