Louisa was born on May 6th, 1846 in Hutto,Williamson Co.,Texas. Louisa's father was James Bud Allen and her mother was Nancy McNutt. Her paternal grandparents were Martin C. Allen and Elizabeth Vice; her maternal grandparents were Robert Blaine ,Major McNutt and Mary Polly Jackson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William Barrett Travis, Benjamin Bud, Joseph Warren, Mary Elizabeth, Martha Matilda and Eliza Jane. She had a half-brother named Winfield Scott. She died at the age of 30 on January 31st, 1877 in Hutto,Williamson Co.,Texas.General Notes
