Humphrey VIII was born in Pleshey Castle, Essex, England.  Humphrey VIII's father was Humphrey VII de Bohun and his mother was Maud de Fiennes.  His paternal grandparents were Humphrey VI the Younger de Bohun and Eleanor de Braose; his maternal grandfather was Euguerran II de Fiennes and his maternal grandmother is Isabel de Conde'.  He was an only child.  He died in Boroughbridge, Yorkshire, England.  He was buried in Church of the Dominican Friars Preachers, York , England.


Humphrey VIII's family with Elizabeth Plantagenet

‌Humphrey VIII and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on November 14th, 1302 in Westminster Abbey, London, Middlesex, England.  They had seven sons and five daughters, named Hugh, Humphrey IX, John, Humphrey X, Edmond, William, Edward, Alianore, Mary, Margaret, Eneas and Isabella.
