Sarah H. was born on February 15th, 1798 in Washington Township, Clermont County, Ohio. Sarah H.'s father was Amasa Owen and her mother was Sarah Osborn. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Owen and Patience Vallance; her maternal grandparents were John Osborn and Eunice Nichols. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Solomon, Elijah, Daniel, Amasa, John, Jacob, Joseph, Delilah, Polly and Eunice. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 73 on June 20th, 1871 in Utica, La Salle County, Illinois.General Notes
