Jacob Crosiar 
Jacob was born about 1829 in LaSalle County, Illinois. Jacob's father was Simon Crosiar and his mother was Sarah H. Owen. His paternal grandparents were John Simon Crosiar and Jane Hert; his maternal grandparents were Amasa Owen and Sarah Osborn. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Amasa Owen, Eli, Simon, William, Asa, Mary Ann and Sarah Ann. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died in 1829 in Infancy.-
