Elmer Elsworth Sloan 
Elmer Elsworth was born on February 11th, 1861. Elmer Elsworth's father was Benjamin Neal Sloan and his mother was Mary Ann Sands Douthit. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Sloan and Leannah Bolling; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Douthit and Maria Riley. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Silas W., Winfield Scott, Archibald Franklin, Edward, Oliver Howard, Haden Finley, Clarissa Ellen, Rebecca Ann, Lidda Martha, Leannah Caroline and Mary Belle. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named William Harrison, John Eads and Janette (Jennett). He died at the age of 1 on February 15th, 1862. He was buried in Simpson Cemetery Crawford Co.,Indiana.-
