William Harrison Sloan 
William Harrison was born in 1840. William Harrison's father was Benjamin Neal Sloan and his mother was Mary Eads. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Sloan and Leannah Bolling. He had a brother and a sister, named John Eads and Janette (Jennett). He was the oldest of the three children. He had seven half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Silas W., Winfield Scott, Archibald Franklin, Elmer Elsworth, Edward, Oliver Howard, Haden Finley, Clarissa Ellen, Rebecca Ann, Lidda Martha, Leannah Caroline and Mary Belle. He died at the age of 78 in 1918. He was buried in Marengo Cemetery,Crawford County,IN.General Notes
