Johann Peter Frey 
Johann Peter was born on September 27th, 1689 in Wingen,Alsace,France,Palatinate. Johann Peter's father was Johann Jacob Frey and his mother was Anna Maria Schaub. His paternal grandparents were Gregor Frey and Veronica-------------; his maternal grandfather was Mathias Schaub. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Johann Heinrich, Andreas, Anna Cleophe, Anna Maria and Anna Catharina. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in Freidburg,North Carolina.General Notes
Brothers Andreas and Johann Peter with their families arrived in US 17-8-1733
on the ship Samuel. Andreas settled in Berks Co.,PA. Johann Peter Took his
oath of Allegiance the day he arived, he settled on Muddy Creek in the
neighborhood of the Moravian schoolhouse near Heidelber, PA. They became a
member of the congregation soon after arrival. In 1765 they moved to NC and
settled near Freidberg, built a house near his son Johann Pelzer.
