Sarah Maria was born on November 25th, 1758 in Hope,Rowan County,North Carolina. Sarah Maria's father was Johann Pelzer-Peter Frey and her mother was Catherine Walke. Her paternal grandparents were Johann Peter Frey and Anna Barbara Schmidt; her maternal grandparents were Hans Martin Walke and Catherine Clore. She was an only child. She died at the age of 63 on January 22nd, 1822 in Hope,Rowan County,North Carolina. She was buried in Hope Cemetery.-
