Stanley Rice was born on July 23rd, 1871 in Hamburg,Freemont,IA. Stanley Rice's father was William Coates Young and his mother was Sarah Frances McClung. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Young and Diademia Rice; his maternal grandparents were Edward McClung and Melvina Young. He had five brothers and six sisters, named George Edward, Albert Russell, Oscar Seth, William John, George Washington, Mary Margaret, Rose Lee, Fannie Ethel, Rose Ellen, Lillian Mae and Nell Mabel. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 42 on November 1st, 1913 in Kingsville,Johnson,MO. He was buried in Wesley Chapel Cemetery,Kingsville,MO.General Notes
