Rose Ellen was born in March 1883 in Madison,Madison,NE. Rose Ellen's father was William Coates Young and her mother was Sarah Frances McClung. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Young and Diademia Rice; her maternal grandparents were Edward McClung and Melvina Young. She had six brothers and five sisters, named George Edward, Stanley Rice, Albert Russell, Oscar Seth, William John, George Washington, Mary Margaret, Rose Lee, Fannie Ethel, Lillian Mae and Nell Mabel. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 29 on September 1st, 1912 in Walters,Cotton,OK. She was buried in Bluff Springs Cemetery,Kingsville,MO.General Notes
Reportedly hurt her leg in a wagon wheel and later died of blood poisoning.
