Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Young and Diademia Rice; her maternal grandparents were Edward McClung and Melvina Young. She had six brothers and five sisters, named George Edward, Stanley Rice, Albert Russell, Oscar Seth, William John, George Washington, Mary Margaret, Rose Lee, Fannie Ethel, Rose Ellen and Nell Mabel. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 56 on September 27th, 1942 in Kingsville,Johnson,MO.General Notes
