Fannie Ethel was born on September 14th, 1879 in Madison,Madison,NE. Fannie Ethel's father was William Coates Young and her mother was Sarah Frances McClung. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Young and Diademia Rice; her maternal grandparents were Edward McClung and Melvina Young. She had six brothers and five sisters, named George Edward, Stanley Rice, Albert Russell, Oscar Seth, William John, George Washington, Mary Margaret, Rose Lee, Rose Ellen, Lillian Mae and Nell Mabel. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 20 on February 14th, 1900 in Kingsville,Johnson,MO. She was buried in Bluff Springs Cemetery,Kingsville,MO.-
