John McClung 
John was born in 1764. John's father was Thomas McClung and his mother was Nancy Black. His paternal grandparents were John McClung and Rebecca Stuart; his maternal grandfather was Alexander Black. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, Edward, Thomas, Jane and Rachel. He was the oldest of the six children.General Notes

John and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony on September 14th, 1800. They had three sons and five daughters, named Thomas, Alexander, Edward, Virginia, Rachel, Elizabeth, Sarah and Nancy.
