Walter Adolph was born on December 2nd, 1883 in Darien,Dent Co,Missouri. Walter Adolph's father was James William Stagner and his mother was Cornelia Catherine Medlock. His paternal grandparents were George Hendricks Stagner and Roseanna Shults; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel L Medlock and Lucy Caroline Medlock. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named William Esco, Columbus H, Joseph Luther, George Arch, Earl Rosemond, Nathaniel Arthur, Unknown, Hurchel Sylvester, Hughie Vernon, Ella Myrtle, Martha Ellen and Mary Apelena. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died before 1965 in Exenia,Illinois.General Notes
