Hughie Vernon Stagner 
Hughie Vernon was born on April 15th, 1904 in Darien,Dent Co,Missouri. Hughie Vernon's father was James William Stagner and his mother was Cornelia Catherine Medlock. His paternal grandparents were George Hendricks Stagner and Roseanna Shults; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel L Medlock and Lucy Caroline Medlock. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Walter Adolph, William Esco, Columbus H, Joseph Luther, George Arch, Earl Rosemond, Nathaniel Arthur, Unknown, Hurchel Sylvester, Ella Myrtle, Martha Ellen and Mary Apelena. He was the youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 1 on June 15th, 1905 in Dent Co,Missouri. He was buried in Dryfork Cemetery,Jack,Dent Co,Missouri.General Notes
DEATH: Of the three boys who died young, one choked to death on a kernel of corn, one died of a childhood disease (possibly croup), and the other's cause of death unknown.
