Ella Myrtle Stagner 
Ella Myrtle was born on January 20th, 1888 in Darien,Dent Co,Missouri. Ella Myrtle's father was James William Stagner and her mother was Cornelia Catherine Medlock. Her paternal grandparents were George Hendricks Stagner and Roseanna Shults; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel L Medlock and Lucy Caroline Medlock. She had ten brothers and two sisters, named Walter Adolph, William Esco, Columbus H, Joseph Luther, George Arch, Earl Rosemond, Nathaniel Arthur, Unknown, Hurchel Sylvester, Hughie Vernon, Martha Ellen and Mary Apelena. She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 100 on June 24th, 1988 in Salem,Dent Co,Missouri.General Notes
BIOGRAPHY: Lived in East St Louis, IL, until moving to Madison, IL, in 1907. In 1945, removed to Salem, Dent Co, MO. In June 1980 moved into the Seville Nursing Center in Salem where she died at the age of 100. She had no children. She had worked as a paper hanger, and made rag rugs, neckties, and quilts.
