George Arch Stagner 
George Arch was born on December 16th, 1891 in Salem,Dent Co,Missouri. George Arch's father was James William Stagner and his mother was Cornelia Catherine Medlock. His paternal grandparents were George Hendricks Stagner and Roseanna Shults; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel L Medlock and Lucy Caroline Medlock. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Walter Adolph, William Esco, Columbus H, Joseph Luther, Earl Rosemond, Nathaniel Arthur, Unknown, Hurchel Sylvester, Hughie Vernon, Ella Myrtle, Martha Ellen and Mary Apelena. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 73 on January 13th, 1965 in Poplar Bluff,Butler Co,Missouri. He was buried in Dryfork Cemetery,Jack,Dent Co,Missouri.General Notes

BIOGRAPHY: Divorced from Bessie after only a year. Never had a steady job. Supplemented his army pensionby dabbling in real estate, etc. After WWI was in southern France where he meta girl he wanted to marry. She refused to return to the US with him, but somewhere in France he had (has) a son.
