Unknown was born on September 9th, 1896 in Darien,Dent Co,Missouri. Unknown's father was James William Stagner and his mother was Cornelia Catherine Medlock. His paternal grandparents were George Hendricks Stagner and Roseanna Shults; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel L Medlock and Lucy Caroline Medlock. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Walter Adolph, William Esco, Columbus H, Joseph Luther, George Arch, Earl Rosemond, Nathaniel Arthur, Hurchel Sylvester, Hughie Vernon, Ella Myrtle, Martha Ellen and Mary Apelena. He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children. He died on September 9th, 1896 in Darien,Dent Co,Missouri. He was buried in Dryfork Cemetery,Jack,Dent Co,Missouri.
