Permelia Goodrich 
Permelia was born on August 14th, 1836 in Shelby,IN. Permelia's father was Thomas Goodrich and her mother was Mary Ray. Her paternal grandparents were George Whetzel Goodrich and Mary Tush; her maternal grandparents were Hudson Ray and Margaret Byerly. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Amos, Cyrus, Nathan, Jefferson, Franklin Pierce, Monroe, Prudence, Phoebe Rhoda and Almira. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 9 on September 1st, 1845 in Shelby,IN.-
