Susannah Lucy Whetzel

Susannah Lucy was born in 1767 in Cedar Creek,Shenandoah,VA.  Susannah Lucy's father was Johannes Martin Whetzel and her mother was Maria Barbara Bonnet.  Her paternal grandparents were Martin Whetzel and UNKNOWN Susan; her maternal grandparents were Jean Bonnet and Anna Desreau. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Martin, George, Lewis, Jacob, John, Eva and Christina.  She died at the age of 61 in 1828 in Shelby,IN.  She was buried in City Cemetery,Shelbyville,IN.

‌Susannah Lucy and Nathan were married in a religious ceremony in 1785 in Lewis,WV.  They had four sons and a daughter, named George Whetzel, William, James, John and Cynthia.
