Nathan Goodrich

Nathan was born on September 9th, 1770 in Alstead,VT.  Nathan's father was Abner Goodrich and his mother was Ruth Delano.  His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Goodrich and Hannah Steele. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Abisha, Abner, James, Almira, Ashbel, Abigail, Anna and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 66 in 1836 in Shelby,IN.  He was buried in City Cemetery,Shelbyville,IN.

‌Nathan and Susannah Lucy were married in a religious ceremony in 1785 in Lewis,WV.  They had four sons and a daughter, named George Whetzel, William, James, John and Cynthia.
