Benjamin Buffington 
Benjamin was born on April 21st, 1800 in Lancaster Co., PA. Benjamin's father was Thomas Buffington and his mother was Elizabeth Slaymaker. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Buffington and Mary Frissell; his maternal grandparents were John Slaymaker and Elizabeth White. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, Daniel, William, Henry Slaymaker, Thomas, Alexander, Margaret, Ann, Jane and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 in 1876.General Notes
