Annie, known as Ann, was born in 1889 in Hindley.¹

Birth Notes

Ann's father was John Vickers (Mather) and her mother was Elizabeth Marsh. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Vickers and Mary Mather. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Ellis, Thomas, John, Thomas, William, Alice, Mary, Jane and Ellen. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
