Alice Mather

Alice was born in 1876 in Hindley.¹

Alice's father was John Vickers (Mather) and her mother was Elizabeth Marsh. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Vickers and Mary Mather. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Ellis, Thomas, John, Thomas, William, Mary, Jane, Ann and Ellen. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 1 in 1877 in Hindley.¹
