Hazel was born in 1920 in Wallasey.¹

Birth Notes

Hazel's father was Thomas William Stocks and her mother was Clara Lee. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Henry Stocks and Frances (Fanny) Ann Perry. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles, George, Thomas, Frank, Phyllis, Dorothy, Evelyn, Clara and Elsie. She was the second youngest of the ten children.
