Evelyn was born in 1909 in Wallasey.¹

Birth Notes

Evelyn's father was Thomas William Stocks and her mother was Clara Lee. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Henry Stocks and Frances (Fanny) Ann Perry. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles, George, Thomas, Frank, Phyllis, Dorothy, Clara, Hazel and Elsie. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
