In 1891, Thomas W Stocks (14) was the oldest son of Charles H and Fanny Stocks, living at Berry Brow, Armitage Bridge, Huddersfield.
It may be that Thomas worked with and later took over his father-in-laws business as William Perry was a Butcher and Farmer.
18 Sep 1899, Thomas William Stocks (22), a butcher from Lockwood, son of Charles Henry Stocks married Clara Lee (23), daughter of Luke Lee from Victoria Road at Rashcliffe, St Stephen and Primrose Hill, St Matthew. Luke Lee, Frank Stocks and Mary Ellen Lee were witness.
In 1900, daughter Phyllis was born in Huddersfield.
In 1902, the family moved to Liverpool where Dorothy and Charles Lee were born before moving to Liscard.
In 1901, Thomas Wm, a butcher, and Clara Stocks (24 & 25) were at Huddersfield with daughter Phyllis (1).
In 1911, Thomas William Stocks, a butcher, and Clara (34 & 35) were living at 42 King Street, Egremont (near Seacombe), Cheshire with Phyllis (11), Dorothy (9), Charles Lee (6), George Lee (4) and Evelyn (2)
