Nancy was born in September 1846 in Little Bolton.¹

Birth Notes

Nancy's father was James Schofield and her mother was Mary Horrocks. Her maternal grandparents were John Horrocks and Nancy Mather. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Adam, John, Thomas, Betty, Ellen, Margaret and Sarah. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at 8 months old in May 1847 in Little Bolton. She was buried on May 18th, 1847 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²³
