Alice Ann Roscoe

Alice was born in October 1854 in Turton.¹

Alice's father was Thomas Roscoe and her mother was Elizabeth Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Cooper. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Albert, Walter, James, Sarah and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the six children.
