Francis (Frank) Roberts

Francis, known as Frank, was born in 1830 in Foulridge.¹

Frank's father was James Roberts and his mother was Mary Sharp. His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Lucy Coulthurst. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Barnard, Amy, Ann and Martha. He had an adopted sister named Maria. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry, James, Jane and Eleanor. He died at the age of 28 in December 1858 in Foulridge. He was buried on December 8th, 1858 at St. Bartholomew's (Colne).²
