Henry was born on October 30th, 1810 in Foulridge and his baptism took place on November 25th, 1810 at St. Bartholomew's (Colne).1  Henry's father was James Roberts and his mother was Jenny (Jane) Wilson.  His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Lucy Coulthurst. He had a brother and two sisters, named James, Jane and Eleanor.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Thomas, John, Frank, Barnard, Maria, Amy, Ann and Martha.  He died at the age of 20 in February 1831 in Foulridge.  His burial was on February 9th, 1831 at St. Bartholomew's (Colne).2 2
