James Openshaw

James was born on May 28th, 1851 in Bolton.¹

James' father was Job Openshaw Snr and his mother was Nancy Beswick. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Openshaw and Catherine (Cassandra) Haslam; his maternal grandparents were James Beswick and Alice Booth. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Job, Jonathan, William, Jane, Alice, Sarah, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 59 on October 21st, 1910 in Salt Lake County/City. His burial was in October 1910 in Salt Lake County/City.²
