Elizabeth Openshaw

Elizabeth was born in March 1863 in Swinton.¹

Elizabeth's father was Job Openshaw Snr and her mother was Nancy Beswick. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Openshaw and Catherine (Cassandra) Haslam; her maternal grandparents were James Beswick and Alice Booth. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James, Job, Jonathan, William, Jane, Alice, Sarah and Mary. She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 5 in December 1868 in Pendlebury. Her burial was on December 21st, 1868 in Pendlebury.²
