Catherine Openshaw

Catherine was born in 1828 in Farnworth.¹

Catherine's father was Thomas Openshaw and her mother was Jane Tomlinson. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, Thomas, Job, Sarah, Mary, Hannah, Catherine, Sarah, Harriet and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the eleven children.

General Notes
- It is possible Catherine is a relative, not a daughter as no relation was entered on the 1851 census, and both are missing in 1841.
  
  In 1851, Catherine (23) was with her (assumed) father Thomas Openshaw (69) at Farnworth.
