Sidney Mercer

Sidney was born in 1882 in Birkenhead.¹

Sidney's father was John Robert Mercer and his mother was Emily Anne Herring. His paternal grandparents were George Mercer and Mary Dutton. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Herbert, Douglas, Ernest, William, Lil, Florence and Eda. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 in 1952 in Birkenhead.²
