Wright Mather

Wright was born in 1797 in Deane and his baptism took place on October 15th, 1797 at St. Mary (Deane).¹

Wright's father was John Mather and his mother was Betty Edge. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John, James, Thomas, Richard, William, Elizabeth, Alice, Jane, Margaret, Mary and Charlotte. He was the nineth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 69 in December 1866 in Bolton. His burial was on December 30th, 1866 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.²³
