Samuel Horrocks Mather

Samuel was born on September 6th, 1818 in Redvales and his baptism took place on November 11th, 1818 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).¹

Birth Notes

Samuel's father was Francis Mather and his mother was Margaret Horrocks. His paternal grandparents were Francis Mather and Elizabeth Chadwick. He had a brother and five sisters, named John, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Margaret and Ann. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
