John Mather

John was born in November 1826 in Bury and his baptism took place on November 2nd, 1826 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).¹

John's father was Francis Mather and his mother was Margaret Horrocks. His paternal grandparents were Francis Mather and Elizabeth Chadwick. He had a brother and five sisters, named Samuel, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Margaret and Ann. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at 11 months old in October 1827 in Bury. He was buried on October 9th, 1827 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).¹
