Francis Mather

Francis was born in 1764 in Redvales. He died at the age of 77 in September 1841 in Whitefield. His burial was in September 1841 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Bury).¹

- 14 Sep 1786, Francis Mather and Elizabeth Chadwick married at St Mary's, Bury
  
  Between 1786 and 1805 they lived at Redvales, South Bury (when the first 10 children were baptised).
  
  By 1807 they had moved to Whitefield which is where their last daughter Esther was born.
  
  In 1841, Francis (77) was with his daughter Ester Mather (30) and Alice Ashworth (60). Francis died in Sept 1841
  
  When daughter Esther married in 1842, her father was a Draper (and his son Frances was also a draper).
