In Jan 1875 Richard Mather (widower, grocer, 45, son of John) married Mary Kay (38, spinster), daughter of Samuel.
In 1881, Richard Mather (51, born Chowbent) and wife Mary (40, born Botany Bay) were grocers at 2 Factory Street, Chowbent with daughters Margaret and Elizabeth (24 & 21)
