22 Oct 1838, Richard Lee (widower) of Alfred Street, son of Joseph Harrison a farmer married Mary Mather (widow) of Castle Street, daughter of Joseph Harrison, a farmer.
In 1841, Richard and Mary Lee (40 & 50) were with Betty, Jane, Thomas, Ellen, Ann, John and Richard Mather. They also had Mary and Ellen Lee (9 & 7) at Alfred Street, Tyldesley.

Mary and John were married in a religious ceremony on November 12th, 1820 in Leigh.1 They had five sons and five daughters, named Robert, John, Thomas, John, Richard, Betty, Mary, Jane, Ellen and Ann. There are no more children.
