Mary Mather

Mary was born on December 23rd, 1835 in Whitefield and her baptism took place on March 13th, 1836 in Stand.¹

Mary's father was John Mather and her mother was Lucy Hilton. Her paternal grandparents were James Madther and Mary Walker. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Lewis, Wilson, James, John, Thomas, Sally, Eliza, Jane, Alice, Rachel and Elizabeth.
